Craftland Shop Suggestions
Post suggestions here about stuff that could be added to http://craftland.org/shop" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
This is non-official, but still post suggestions here. I'll start, the shop should add more blocks (spawners & stuff)

Re: Craftland Shop Suggestions
I dont want this. Too many items being buyable with real money ruins the server and its economy. People like me who cant afford these things get pushed aside as they cant get all these expensive items and people like me who dont buy them cant make money, as people are only buying the expensive items.
Basically selling a tonne of items to a server makes it a "pay to win" server, a term I and others have used all too many times. Pay to win servers get a bunch of players, but they then all leave, leaving only a few players who donate a tonne. Just makes it oh so boring and not nearly as fun as a server where you dont pay to win.

Re: Craftland Shop Suggestions
How does a penguin spawner for example make a server pay to win? It only offers a vanity item not providing any bonuses other than owning one.

But said item could be sold for a large amount of in game coins (used to buy other items that will give an advantage)Porkkana wrote:How does a penguin spawner for example make a server pay to win? It only offers a vanity item not providing any bonuses other than owning one.

Re: Craftland Shop Suggestions
I feel you, all the people with a ton of money buying a ton of stuff, it seems unfair, but it really isn't, it's just people that have the money to do it. Plus, they could sell it for a cheaper price in a player shopPig001 wrote:I dont want this. Too many items being buyable with real money ruins the server and its economy. Re: Craftland Shop Suggestions
Thats entirely my point. "Its just people who have the money", who also have all the expensive items, who also are the gods of items, who also own all the grinders, who also have premium V, who also control the economy, who also can sell things cheap and ruin the economy.Fightr wrote:I feel you, all the people with a ton of money buying a ton of stuff, it seems unfair, but it really isn't, it's just people that have the money to do it. 2 of the only people who are excluded from this who still control things are me and eleazar. We both have grinders and both have shops. We are 2 of only a few left of the not so pay to win players who control parts of the economy. Idk really if eleazar does buy a few items, but all I know is that he used to run a very successful shop which controlled and still controls one or two parts of the economy.

Re: Craftland Shop Suggestions
The direct inflation, and making of a play-to-win of the economy is buying in-game coins with real money. It can indirectly be achieved by buying rare items with real money, then selling it in the shop for in-game coins. If there were to be an item introduced that costed little to no credits (Such as 3, 2, or 1) the highest price you can pay would not be much. If you make it stack to 1, it may cause a pain to sell large quantities. So if an item were to be introduced, it would be best to sell it for a small amount of credits and not let it stack.
