If anything, wouldnt people over 18 be more mature?
I happen to think that the rule shoouldnt be a rule, just a notification. This is becuase I have seen a mature 10 year old (Cough not naming). For example, on the bottom or top of the template it says: "If you are under the age of 13 your application may have a smaller chance of getting accepted" or something like that. However, applications shouldnt get immediatly denied because of a player younger then thirteen. Just my opinion.

Agreed; people can be mature for their age. Staff usually looks to older players (17ish), but people must forget that I was only 14 and 1/4 when I got mod. Younger people COULD be mature enough, but that is generally not the case.

I am 13, but I am really mature. Sort of bad though, as people call me boring for my age... -.-

I was mature as a moderator (well, mature enough for the most part), and I'm never called boring. I'm like the life of the freakin' party most of the time...
Just because ya young, doesn't mean your dumb as dirt, and act like ya 5.

Well another reason why we have a age limit is we want to protect staff, especially young ones. For example moderators and admins have a GUI to see every painting ever loaded. And it's not uncommon to come across a vulgar painting while working through the list

That's a very good point; though the Admin GUI is only for mods and admins, not helpers.

Just stop this post, the age requirement/advise stays the way as it is.
