Rules 12 and 14.
These rules should either be removed or made more accurate.
What could possibly be the reason to deny drop parties?
What is "inappropriate"? People do not share the same morals and/or a sense of what is funny and what is not.
This needs to be revised!
I suggest rules for paintings in public areas to be separated from rules for paintings in houses.
If not, should the rule be extended to rude jokes on signs too, even if all parties find them acceptable?
Please do comment.

Re: Rules 12 and 14.
I really want to second this - what painting is and isn't appropriate sometimes is an issue of taste. Perhaps having a mod or an admin "authorize a painting with a sign...?

No authorization would be too much work for little use.Zarvon wrote:I really want to second this - what painting is and isn't appropriate sometimes is an issue of taste. Perhaps having a mod or an admin "authorize a painting with a sign...?
We just need to make clear rules like "No paintings with nudity, gore or patriotism" or something.

I'll paintings when I get the chance. Talk to the rest of the admins about drop parties. I'm fine with them though.
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

Everybody should know what "Inappropriate" is, I'm hardly saying a guy getting shot in the foot is going to be that bad compared to, lets say, a guy eating his liver. But it's common sense, grey area paintings I just leave as they are.
Drop Parties were banned because of the way they just threw riches around like bags of rice, with the hosters being rich Americans and the paupers being poor starving African children. I personally think the ban it's been beneficial, shops etc are working properly now, and newbies aren't walking into a store with "What can 3 million coins buy me?".

On this note, I'm officially poor now, I sold virtually all my items to hippo, including my borderline items...

No. We cannot expect everyone to share the same ideals and values. There are some conservative people here as well as liberal ones.Mr_Blobby wrote:Excuse me, what? xDBlackjack wrote:I'll paintings when I get the chance.

Did not know about the cache thing. I wouldn't actually like 100 "approriate" pictures on my hdd any better than 100 pictures of 50 Cent. Isn't there any other way to make a custom painting system?
On the drop parties issue, where the hell did you pick up the American/African line? Seriously.
I should be free to give away items as I please. As often as I please. As much as I please. You do not tell a rich dude who wants to give away 15 Bic Macs he can't do it because White Castle would lose business.

Re: Rules 12 and 14.
Wasn't the rule for paintings put into a rule to begin with because say, what one person might have stored away in the pits of their home could still be seen by a child in game, if said child has tp right to the person with the questionable painting?
No matter where it is unless you block everyone from tping and setting warps, someone will see it.
