Combinable Mob Spawners

Combinable Mob Spawners

I would like there to be a new block that allows you to combine mob spawners. That block being the "Mob Spawner Combiner". What does it do? Well, it combines up to 4 mob spawners turning it into one mob spawner that spawns all of the mobs that were from the 4 mob spawners. The Block is similar to a beacon, but instead of giving potion effects, it combines mob spawners with a shadowy beam. Here are some pictures and details about this block:

This is the recipe for the Mob Spawner Combiner. Note: The spawners in this recipe can be any spawner.

Throw in items (Like you would in the boss spawner) to speed up the process (It takes a while).

This is an example GUI for when you right click the block. When it makes the spawner, it will appear in the single slot.

This actually isn't a bad idea. I know me and nide talked about spawners that spawned many different mobs like last year.

Problem with this is that the way mob spawners work in their core would have to be changed. This is the mob spawning AND the placement of them(as they have to be placed 16 blocks away). Recently, I added a new item called the soul jar, where you basically bind it to a mob, and as you kill mobs with a certain weapon, the souls in the jar increment. Idk, but this could be used with a special other block for making mob spawners, although I had other plans for it, it could link in with this.

Soul jar sounds awesome so does this nice idea +1

How about: if a mobspawner is placed next to the spawner combiner, it does not spawn mobs. spawner combiner is un-breakable while there is a spawner next to it. that would fix the issues you mentioned.

How about if the spawners got combined in an anvil? This will make it easier than making a whole new block. Also, I have many unused spawners, so it would be nice to get this added. :3
