Not many people hate Nickelback. They bandwagon onto the wide hatred for Nickelback. And the people that actually have a reason to hate Nickelback, don't hate them because the music is bad. Lots of people all over think loads of music is bad, and they don't give it any thought. The true Nickelback haters hate Nickelback because the band was advertised and played on the radio overly aggressively, when the music isn't anything special. They're a mediocre band that some guy at a studio heard, and said "That can make me money.", and he turned a mediocre band into a sensation just over media hype.
I hate Nickelback not because I dislike the music, but because I dislike the way they became so famous.
