I have also been thinking of making a monthly tournament of several games, such as Pvp and spleef, maybe some other games too.
Each tournament game winner will get a price and we could make a ladder of those who enter the tournaments, where the winner of a year gets even an extra price.
But to enter a tournament you need to sign in with a form, so that we know who enters, who fights who and that that players agrees with the rules of the tournament.
Of course we can have PvP divided in some ways of battling, there can be a ladder for a "bring your own stuff", "bare handed" and "fight with a selection of items we pick for you" competitions.
But to make it an equal fight I think there must be an option where mcmmo skill can be deactivated.
(or even to make it more fun that there is pressure plate/button with an command block under it where you can activate mcmmo for a few seconds + reset time)

pvp tournaments + spleef => people with bad computers or laptops have almost no chance of winning because of the lag

Basically, more advertising (maybe vid contests
) and stuff.
To keep more players online we DEFINATELY need more tournaments such as spleef, PvP, mob arenas and SG. I remember the good old days when their were PvP tournies all the time and it was great. I would like to see this return.
btw, adding more videos to the Craftland YouTube channel wouldn't hurt ;D

You get x amount of stuff for every player that joins the server and/or plays enough.
This would encourage people to invite their friends.
