GreyCliff, The realm of Adventure!

Post by DakotaSpine » Tue Jul 30, 2013 3:18 pm

Hello people of Craftland, I'm Dakota Spine, I may only be speaking for myself, but when Greycliff was released, people were really pumped for a whole new original realm to come out in Craftland. But it may or may not be a little less than people expected, but it seems to be lacking something, and that is being it's own realm, a whole new world within itself. Now, you may not follow what I am saying, but hear me out. Now you may not know, but recently the Technic Launcher added two new mod packs, one being a mod pack called Hexxit. It revolves around adventure, and exploration in a new Minecraft, filled with new plants and mobs all over, dungeons to explore, more things to build! Why is this important you ask? Well, just close your eyes and listen the dimension's name "GreyCliff", doesn't it sound like a place filled with danger and adventure as far as the eye can see? It does, but when you walk into Greycliff, all you can see is the XL Biomes, and maybe a new dungeon if you are lucky. The XL Biomes is cool and all, but we need more. We need Blueberry and raspberry bushes growing on hillsides, dripping with the morning dew, we need Eucalupus Trees, Tigerwood Trees, Huge Redwood Trees reaching all the way to the sky limit and grazing the heavens! We need Graveyards and towers and labyrinths! Skeleton Castles! Things to test our warrior strength! We bulls and snakes roaming the earth, vultures and birds soaring through the sky, and and sharks and stingrays ruling the seas! We can add the Chocobos, make them the cousins of moas! Make it canon! And what about deserts crawling with mummies and cacti with beautiful flowers with beautiful desert flowers in full bloom, and beaches with palm trees and coconuts growing of their wild branches. We pick apart Greycliff, and we need it to kick back! Magical shrubs growing throughout the plains and tundras, along with velvety black flowers, Sunflowers, Ghasal Green! And Nide, you are Craftland's god! Get creative! Let Greycliff breath life and color! Make your own additions, things nobody has ever seen! Create brand new mobs and blocks and items nobody have ever seen, maybe never even thought of! I've seen what you are doing with it, adding different level zones and such, you are taking a step in the right direction! Add more, why stop there? So much potential, Legend Gear, Natura Mod, More Dungeons, Better Dungeons, Magic stuff! So come on, you can really make something amazing out of GreyCliff, make it something Craftland is extremely known-, no, legendary for! Let Craftland out of it's shell, and make it something that Craftland can TRULY stand alone for! Something completely original! So come on Craftland, lets make this happen! Dakota, out! Craftland rules!

Are you planning to code this all, because nidefawl just get to much to his head that he needs to add or do.
We are not even on the newest version...
Also nidefawl is more a coder then a designer I think, so new mobs and some other new stuff would need to come from other people.

Maybe IF we can organize a group that work these kind of things out, then he might add them.
We just go think of all the stuff and suggest it to nidefawl and see if he is willing to add or code it.
Let me know what you think of this.

Also the newest addition for Greycliff is leveled monsters.
And on random generated stuff, that might be to late, because it needs to be in the world generator.

I understand he has a lot right now, and i'm not saying he HAS to put this is, but even though I didn't mention it, he could just do this if he wants. And i'm not much of a coder, and I can't really do that kind of stuff, sorry if that makes me seem selfish.

Ya, I think we can organize a group to do that stuff, I will try to do all I can to help you guys if you do form a group.

I understand for the generated things, but right now, Greycliff is slightly like a resource world like the Nether or the End (Just not as vacant.) And I also said the thing about higher leveled monsters, because I was on the test server when he was working with that.

Thanks for saying the things you did to, I got some good feedback :)

Also, I hope Nide isn't thinking i'm, I don't know, annoying with all these suggestions (Sorry for late responce)
