Honestly, I must have done that 5 times ever since I got this new computer.__Blackjack__ wrote:If you have a windows 7 disk I can give you a guide on how to nuke all the data on your hard drive (Copy what you want onto an external) And reinstall windows. ^. Not to difficult one you know what you're doing. I know some people who just reinstalled windows 1/month so they could get free trials of everything again.

Re: Good bye D: (FOREVER NOOOOO)
That's pretty funny. I wish I had the willpower to do that. And the computer. Too much transferring new stuff over. Running things from an external is slow and laggy unless I can find a way to speed it up.
If you can find a way to install Win7 on a partition on your harddrive, then this may work out. I've done this when I ran Win8 Dev. Oh boy that was a mistake. The thing wasn't compatible with anything. Had to run Win7 upon booting. At least I as able to play my games again. Eventually nuked my laptop for Win7 entirely. Never going back to Win8. I hate it's interface with a passion.

Re: Good bye D: (FOREVER NOOOOO)
If you have a ssd you can run games as quick as the ssd even if its installed on an different HDD.
I have seen this by playing some games with lanngreen, his loading times between levels where like 2x slower, if not more.

What if he wants to run windows 8? Is there a way to trick the computer to think it's 7?__Blackjack__ wrote:If you have a windows 7 disk I can give you a guide on how to nuke all the data on your hard drive (Copy what you want onto an external) And reinstall windows. Re: Good bye D: (new hope :D)
Windows 8 works perfectly fine under the same settings, make sure you have all system updates installed.
