I do truly like the idea of prestige for the cape. You should be able to reset the skill, but get a certain gift, such as a prestige award, perhaps? Along with the cape, maybe a extra title above, or next to the skill it could say "Prestiged" or "Mastered"? And a very special ability relating to the gift when you go back to zero and train it to 1K again.

Re: (Runescape) Skill capes!
Wouldn't it be hard to get capes for people who already have level 1000 on skills?
Otherwise, I like this!

No it wouldn't be too hard at all. In RuneScape there's a NPC that sells the cape for a certain amount of gold and you must be lvl 99 to purchase the cape, In Craft Land there could be a different NPC for every diff skill cape and Max cape also Trimmed Comp selling the Skill capes 10k ea, Max cape 30k ea, and trimmed comp 50k ea, And you must have the requirements to buy them (Ex: 1000 For skillcape, 1000 in all skills for Max cape, and 1000 in all skills + Achievements for Trimmed Comp).

I just thought the Animations of each Skill cape can summon a NPC to do a effect in representing the Skill cape like an emote!

Re: (Runescape) Skill capes!
that got me thinking: what about titles in general?Adam wrote:I do truly like the idea of prestige for the cape. Some examples: (earned permanently)
1. Having every achievement: Perfectionist 'PLAYERNAME'
2. Level 1000 in Taming: Beasttrainer 'PLAYERNAME'
3. Played 300h total: Veteran 'PLAYERNAME'
Special ones: (can be lost)
1. Killed more players and bosses than regular mobs: 'PLAYERNAME' the Badass
2. At least 1m Coins in account: 'PLAYERNAME' the Wealthy
3. Having max 40hp (20 hearts): 'PLAYERNAME' the Healthy
4. Not died for 100h+: 'PLAYERNAME' the Survivor
and that wouldn't even be that hard to code

Re: (Runescape) Skill capes!
Nide Told me he couldnt add new capes. Instead of capes why not hoods, In Runescape skill capes comes with skill Hoods to match the cape.

Re: (Runescape) Skill capes!
The hoods could be instead hats, which can be easily made. All that we would need would be a template for a hood (the model), and then for each skill, make it have another colour matching the skill. For example, herbalism could be a green hood (so the item name and icon would be: Herbalism Hood, with the icon being a hat, since that's the icon of all hats).Jaylee8111 wrote:Nide Told me he couldnt add new capes.
