hoppers do not work right

Post by CowboyWoody37 » Mon Jul 29, 2013 10:46 am

When you make a line of Hoppers it goes strate down the line but if there is one hopper under one of the hoppers in that line then the line breaks and goes to the wrong hopper.

It doesn't mean it isn't a bug, it just means we can fix it before they do. :P

It is a feature though. that mechanic is used to make automatic sorting machines.

Hoppers are meant to follow the way the pipes direct, if he has 3 pipes connected in a line, it shouldn't be going perpendicular.

But hoppers can pull items out of above inventories, This is eaxctally how it works in vanilla.

But the hopper shouldn't be pulling from other hoppers, hoppers should be pushing items through their own pipes primarily. It should be following the hopper pipes direction over the other hoppers, its Mojang far less than perfect implementation of basic piping that doesn't make any sense. I blame that it likely just checks in the block above extends inventory classes. There isnt even a visible connection between the 2 hoppers.
