Nick decided to work on a new system, that was effectivly much better than the origional idea, but also fix other issues that had been getting raised in this topic, dealing with not all helpers giving the same mute times for the same offense(partially to do with higher staff giving different information), staff not having communication between each other to do with players getting warned several times a day by different staff, and other things. And so, the warn command was born.

Though, bare in mind that all of this information is subject to change, and certain things might be changed, upgraded, removed, whatever. But dont take any of it to be exact.

Simply, it allows a helper to warn a player, either giving a custom reason, or using predefined reasons to warn a player. It is a simple command, player name and either custom message, or warn catagory, which are all easily known. This then sends the player a message, stating they have been warned, and then does the intellegent part. It checks for all the times a player has been warned, and if they have been warned a certain amount of times, it automatically mutes the player, depending on how recent the warnings where and how many they have. It also depends on what the warning catagory is, with different catagories muting for longer periods of time.

Now that is only the tip of the iceberg. It is *planned*, again, none, all or only parts of this might be done - for the system to be able to:
- Display all mutes for players
- Be able to remove warnings if accidentally done
- Ban players if they recieve to many warnings (Im not sure, but it looks as if it does this already, but I couldnt get a hold of nick at the time of writing this)

And a fair bit more, but most of the other things are only just mensioned, but not actually completly considered.

At the moment, the system is still being tweaked, and while on the live server, is not meant for proper use. Parts may be changed, removed, upgraded, anything could happen, but I think this is what people were after. Again, this was made mainly by nick, but may have been helped by nide and marc (I didnt do anything other than play about with it), so big thanks to him.

Nick, feel free to correct me on any of this, I just thought we couldnt leave this topic open here.
just and question regarding this new thing wil it work with nicknames as well ? and is it caps sensitive ? craftland doesn't have and auto complete with tab on names like most of the mc server have so i was wondering ;) for example a play acc name is something like XxXMinecraftGuyXxX1234593 and is nicknamed to BoB can we just use BoB or do we need to type out the complete account name

Its the same partial name matching as every command on the server (like /who <name>)
