Wait, songs that are home made have no copyright. If one were to post a song, before it is uploaded, it has to be checked out by an admin, mod or helper. That way no songs with copyrights are posted and no lawsuits are filed.

Like I said before, it still brings on the problem of haveing a staff member check each song, after a while no one wants to listen to 4 min long songs all day.

There are two things your probably thinking. A) How do we check them, no-one knows all of the songs in the world. We'll, if it is copyrighted, google does know it. Just use the voice search feature, it should pull up songs. B) How do you apply. That is the easy part. You set up a separate forum category where you post the song name, description, and the file. It is then checked by admins, mods, or helpers.

Too complicated for a feature that would be barely used and somehow abused.

Not really. We could have a song check day every week. Saturday prefereably. Also, I guess we would need to get people who have GarageBand. Then they just need to open the file, then check for clippings.
