A solution to DDOS attacks to keep the player money safe!

Instead of the Keys being consumed when the player enters the arena, The player is checked by an admin to see if they got their key to enter the tournament but they keeps it Until they die and the last person alive gets the Money of all the player deaths added up in total counted up by 5 euros a player, so if a player DDOSED the player would not lose their key and get to keep it and use it next month tournament so its safe and would be dumb for people to try DDOSING to win, The player who comes first place gets 75% of all of the added deaths in the arena.

But then that dosent solve combat logging, you could just unplug your Ethernet cable and time out, then say you were dossed

I still think we shouldn't have to pay to join this tournament... Then at least players can't complain about losing their money.

Then the idea loses the whole purpose. It's supposed to have something fun and be rewarding. Giving in game items isn't that rewarding.

We can't do this officially. Paypal does not allow this and there are many players under the age of 18 or in countries where this is considered gambling and illegal.
This could get me in trouble pretty quick. Paypal would close my account, which would be a disaster

To see if this actually drags some attention I will host a free-to-join tournament next month with a 50 euro prize.

I could send that out as a amazon-gift cards, paypal or bitcoin if someone is into that.
Maybe I could also send out tf2/cs:go steam keys. (My steam is still broken. Never bought keys before. Not sure if I could buy on their website isntead)
