Best weapons to use at the moment?

I've seen players use a wide variety of weapons and I was wondering which is strongest at the moment. Can someone fill me in?

The best weapon in the game is a Perfect Diamond axe with Axes 1200, with Smite 9 and Sharpness 9 get 2 axes so u can have both
