Special rewards aren't based off damage right now, it's just based off a random chance.

They were for a bit when it was first added, I don't know for sure with the future

Just on the topic of this, I done 188 damage right at the end, and got a valk chestplate with unbreaking 10 and prot 9, and then another time done 30k damage to the superboss and got nothing. Would be nice if rewards were based of damage more.

A little more damage weight would be amazing. I hate how I come in 2/3rd for damage, and get shit.

tht is annoying, came in first once and got like 3 emeralds and gummies and other bad stuff but some other guy got a cursed blade and a someone else got a valk chest

It should still be random but if you do more damage there should be a slightly higher chance. However, as nide pointed out in-game, he can't give everyone OP prizes every time because the economy will wrecked.
