A bit of poetry.

Love
As we live, we grow attached,
some people perk interests, we soon can't be without,
as we live, we learn,
we learn to love, then we fall in love,
people become close, find a way in our hearts,
eventually we open, we let those close in,
our hearts work for them, only for them,
we want them, to stay with them,
we don't want to lose them, for them to leave,
we love and care, they stay on our mind,
make our minds go blank, difficult to think,
those who touch our hearts, tend to be our love,
they make life worth living, regardless of how bad.

Did you make this up yourself? It's pretty good.

My poetry has no rhyming. The rhythm in the poem is how the reader reads it. Though, I guess that isn't a considerable rhyme scheme, but eh.

Poetry doesn't always rhyme. An example is the way Yoda speaks, that's pure poetry.

My poetic thoughts rarely rhyme, but they have special rhythm in it. Not everyone finds it, but those who do cherish it the most.
It may not make sense, but to those who truly understand, it makes perfect sense. A poets mind works fluently with a philosopher's motives. Put the two together for work of pure heart touching material. It's mindset is what could be, has been, or never will be. Something of a mere thought, saying, phrase, then it becomes a work of art made to be read.
It's the little things about those types of poetry that truly affect a person. It's not always good, nor is it always bad. It's the perception of it that determines how it is. Quite like an abstract painting.
