Why did you sent it to the factory and what was wrong with it?

I sent it to the factory because 1. The microphone jack wasn't working.

2. On startup it showed up a message like this: Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key_

I couldn't enter safe mode, BIOS mode or recovery mode as it came back to this message, so the hard disk died.

I will be able to be online sometimes as i might get a rent computer from the brand i bought it from aswell as i use my old computer. Problem is that it might crash as it is 10 years old :P

I miss XP. It feels so welcoming when I think back to it, especially all the default desktop backgrounds.

I know, right? I remember the first XP computer I used, way back in '01. All the colors were refreshing since us '90s kids were used to dull gray GUIs (Windows 95 and 98). I'm surprised it stuck around for over a decade, but I attribute that to businesses who are slow to upgrade hardware and software. I hope Windows 7 stays a viable OS for just as long as XP did.

I hope so too, I'd hate to see the "operating system" Windows 8 or some other Metro crap steal the show. :P
