+1 for old hardware! Too bad XP support ends next year.Chedd wrote:2003 ain't too bad. Don't crash on Windows XP >,<
I know, right? I remember the first XP computer I used, way back in '01. All the colors were refreshing since us '90s kids were used to dull gray GUIs (Windows 95 and 98). I'm surprised it stuck around for over a decade, but I attribute that to businesses who are slow to upgrade hardware and software. I hope Windows 7 stays a viable OS for just as long as XP did.Cynthriel wrote:I miss XP. It feels so welcoming when I think back to it, especially all the default desktop backgrounds.
I hope so too, I'd hate to see the "operating system" Windows 8 or some other Metro crap steal the show.Tyler wrote:I know, right? I remember the first XP computer I used, way back in '01.
