I know the server is hosted in Germany, but really the player base is spread all across the world. It might not be a fair representation of what the server is to place it as a German server, but then again we might get a flood of players if they knew it was fit for global use. I know I wouldn't want to join a server if it wasn't either US or global.

The flag is determined by where the server is hosted, nide can not change it.

Ever seen any Germans joining last months? I didn't. That flag doesn't change anything if it comes to attracting players.
Unless you think that Germany has a bad reputation from history, but then you just need to come back to the current time, there is nothing wrong with Germany.

noo I'm not saying anything at all like that.
I'm saying that when I'm looking for a server myself, I look for servers that are either global or nearby because I like to play with people who are in the same continent I am and I am somewhat expecting lag if it's hosted across the world. I also think that when it says German, that most of the server will be Germans or the main language will be German.

I didn't know that. I remember seeing global on some servers. I'm looking back at the minestatus servers and you're right.

That is probably why they added it, so you can expect lag. And if you look for an server you don't just look at the county you go look on the page or website it has. There you will find out if it is totally German or not.
Besides, since we are so high on the serverlist, doesn't it mean that it is not German only?

If he can't change it in the first place, then this topic really has no place to go. my bad
