Made something of my own.

Was wondering what you people would make of it, been working on it for a while now and most of what I want is done.

Looks promising, ever thought about making this with kinda thing but then making/adding new textures?

At the minute it's using my own super bright grayscale versions of each texture - However a block with a texture chooser might be interesting.

That too but what I was more thinking of is like creating a new texture or adding it like you can do with custom painting like we got on the server.

And how about a tool that can make the emit light, maybe something with glowstonedust as fuel.
The more you add at to the block the more light it emits, till a max of 15 like glowstone.

Adding light would be fairly simple to do - Thanks for the suggestions.

I'm not too sure on the textures though, the new texture system with 1.5 is awkward enough as it is, and I can't seem to find a way to grab hold of TextureMap on demand.
