Singleplayer craftland

If any of you on the forums haven't played singleplayer craftland, DO SO. I'm playing hardcore now, an it's an incredible experience. Though it is perpetually day, the worldgen makes up for the benefit provided by that. Lava spawns naturally in tiny pools EVERYWHERE, making it dangerous to even think about running around without being incredibly careful of where you go. Dungeons fill the underground, and they're hard as hell to beat. I had a stack and a half of mossy cobble before I had more than 6 iron, and it was hard to get. You can't pick up spawners. I just got to the nether, and it's WIERD. Bedrock everywhere, netherrack and pigzombies. I'm hunting nether strongholds, but I'm not sure if they spawn. Villager trading is enabled, but only sort of; each villager has one trade, and one trade only, meaning that it's unusual to get much useful. Food spawns rarely, and it's a good idea to start farming quickly or you'll die very quickly.

Did I mention you can't have more than five hearts?

Yeah. If you like a challenge, go play hardcore craftland.

After spending around a half hour searching the nether for blazes and nearly dying, I decided that I'm going to have to hack in some items to search the end. Oh well. The nether is truly scary, though - long drops directly into the void are every four or five rows of netherrack, and sometimes pigzombies will spawn on tiny ledges, and you'll be forced to fight them off while retreating incredibly quickly or they'll hit you and you'll get bumped out of shift. Of course, there's the problem of the bedrock everywhere, which makes manuevering very tricky.

On my singleplayer skeletons didnt attack, dunno if others do attack, but it wasn't that difficult.
Also i could see where mobs where because the display names where shown, so it was easy to find caves and spawners.

Yeah, the thing where all mobs show up IS pretty nice :cheesy:
I'll test the skeleton-attacking thing. I know that zombies do attack, and cavespiders seem a LOT more powerful.
Do you have half the max health you'd normally have, like me, or that just a client bug?

i heard somewhere that craftland is not meant to support single player and that is why it is so buggy. Is it true that craftland is only a multiplayer based mod or is single player being developed. I could not get to the aether so i was under the assumption that it was true and craftland is only a multiplayer mod.

Yeah. It's why I was so surprised about the awesomeness of singleplayer...

I belive the random void holes and lava pits are bugs... but i could be wrong.

Everything about the world gen is a bug.

The only thing I REALLY don't like is that villagers have only one trade each.
