Antarctica isn't a continent. Remove all the ice and shit, and you have a series of small islands pretty much.

Let's be honest; It's the Americas, not North and South America. They are connected, or, atleast they were until Teddy.

The common definition of a continent (not the real scientific definition) makes Europe and Asia a single continent; Eurasia. Since I disregarded the Panama Canal, and made North and South America into The Americas, then we'll also disregard the Suez Canal, and Eurasia actually becomes Afro-Eurasia.

The common definition of a continent is really just a large land mass, separated from others by water. So, who's to say Australia is big enough? Is it a continent, or just the biggest island?

Depending on if you want to count Australia, you can either have two continents, or three.

As I said in my post, I wasn't going by the real definition of a continent, IE, each plate. No one lists each plate as a continent, because the "North American plate" takes with it a chunk of Russia and Japan.

And, as I said, without ice, Antarctica isn't like that.
Without ice, it's really an archipelago, and, the largest of the islands in the archipelago is SMALLER than Australia. So, it is MOST DEFINITELY NOT A CONTINENT by the average person's definition of a continent.
