In the main MC (as of 1.8) a new enchantment system has been incorporated. How does the community feel about the new system? Should I look forward to seeing this in the future?

I like the new enchantment system

I feel that it would give a better purpose for lapis, and maybe cause a small inflation of the price of lapis, making it a bit more valuable.
