Slime Chunks?

So I want to make a huge spawner/grinder etc.. complex, and I want to do it in the new world, where I'll have some space. My question is, are there slime chunks in the new world. If there are, all I need is the seed for the Newworld and I'm good. Please and TY, ~Blackjack

They are there, and in normal world.
As admin we can see them on the minimap all over.
Since the latest update you can notice them with a slimeball (which will glow when in one(havent tested it myself)).
But then the big question will be: how to get one slimeball

well, I already have 2 spawners and multiple stacks, I was just going to relocate.

Clay drops them occasionally if you have excavation > 150

btw: slimes only spawn below y 16, will update that to 40 next reboot
