Where do mobs spawn fastest?

So I'm thinking of making a V4 of my mob grinder, and I want to put it where mobs spawn fastest, A.K.A which world? Currently in the normal world, i get to about 150 zombies, then if I don't do anything to them, they despawn within 2 minutes. 
I heard the nether has faster spawn rate, but I'm not sure. Help??
