HELP!

I found a bunch of wierd netherrack boxes in the swamplands and ghasts started spawning but I can't find any spawners! Also I can't find ANY spawners!

I found 4 spawners. Are there passive mob spawners too?

Nope, defenitely none. I spent 4 hours on Tuesday looking for passive spawners. The only spawners I found were in the Netherrack boxes.

No, what I'm asking is, are the passive spawners in the netherrack boxes? Are they supposed to be in those wierd cobblestone formations?

passive mobs are only found on the surface, its just random, so there is no need to look only at the cobblestone formations, wich are only ruines
