Caps rule.

People need to learn something. The caps rule implies that you DON'T TYPE THINGS LIKE THIS IN THE CHAT THAT ARE IN FULL CAPS. However, you CAN emphasise words like I just did. Also, to a few people (I will not name names), it is fine to start a word with a capital letter at the beginning of a sentence. Just because you can't use caps, it doesn't mean that you can't use the AT ALL. I just needed to clear that for anyone with the IQ of a cranberry.
Thank you for your time,

Yeah, I want to stick a knife in their face when they say that.

The Caps rule should be abolished. For one having caps lock on means nothing, nor connotes anything. Secondly, if caps annoys you turn your chat off. Thirdly, there should at least be a limit to how many letters can be capitalized, whenever I would type three letters in capitals I was scolded; 22dsf23 was banned for 5 letters. I find this both absurd and childish that so many people can be apposed to capital letters in excess. Also people on this server need to learn the word EXCESS, three isn't excessive, 15-20 is excessive. When someone starts every word with a capital, they are breaking the rule just as much as anyone who types in all capitals for a short sentence.

I agree with the caps rule. Ever go on a server where all you see is PEOPLE TYPING LIKE THIS in the chat? After a little while it makes you really annoyed. I can only imagine for those who have ocd.

Capping the first letter is not the same as raging at someone in full caps.

The caps rule was set up for a reason. Toguno could not be more correct when he pointed out servers loose attraction and appeal when all the players cap their messages to either advertise items, get someone to listen to them, or try to be funny (yelling out something incredibly inappropriate randomly).

This rule is especially important to Craftland considering all the players that advertise. You shouldn't have to join a separate chat, even cease communication altogether because players can't resist hitting the caps button before typing something in.

What can be done, however, is suppress the amount of players that yell out "No caps" when someone caps a message, grant a little more leniency for players who cap 2 letters and those that cap by accident, apologizing immediately thereafter.

Adam when you said yelling you made an incredible mistake, you can't yell over chat, do we yell the start of every letter in a sentence? Hell no. Secondly, advertising is already moderated, therefore moderating the amount of capital letters in succession; for example "Come to my shop, I HAVE THE BEST DEALS," would not be allowed. The players of craftland had an irrational fear of capital letters, you aren't directly affected by the chat and if you see capitals you don't have to read it and give yourself a migraine. I think everyone should stop being so childish, no other server has a rule such as this, do you see people spamming the chat in all capitals? No, you don't.

The rule is there to stay. It's a minor one and I have seen players overreacting over it, but it does more good than harm.
Also, most servers have this rule, I just did the test: I went to the first server website on minestatus, read the rules and there we could read
Use Chat Appropriately
Use regular case or title case, not all capitals
Refrain from explicit language and "1337 sp34k"
Use /tell for private conversations
No spamming of any type
