I did it with an absolut crapy PC, just a 2 Core with 2 GB RAM and a 1 GB GPU.
The programm runs fluent and smart. You can do really nice lets plays or let´s shows.

Its my fathers PC, he's the guy who respects murphys law, smile.
Mine are Macs, but I was at his place.
I guess there will be Win XP for the next ten years also

Nice video, i prefer fraps for gaming recording. Gonna get a capture card pretty soon i hope.
