Item Repairing

I don't really see why repairing items with an mcmmo anvil is too easy. Now it is impossible to repair armor and repairing tools takes so many levels up. Even at a grinder it takes 10 minutes to 40 minutes to get enough levels to repair 1 tool in a vanilla anvil. For new players it would take about 2 hours to kill enough naturally spawned mobs to repair. The mcmmo anvil still took up the material to repair the item and when i would repair my diamond armor i would always run out of diamonds. Plus if you repair items using an aether enchanter the enchantments go away.

Yeah.. But couldn't he at least leave it until it was finished and ready to be changed? Because at the moment it's very hard to repair tools, and we need to wait for however long nidefawl takes..

Mcmmo method was pure bullwhip. We could disable repairing all together, but where does one get when he fails to venture into the unknown? Nowhere. You have to start somewhere.

Mcmmo was OP. Honestly, 10-20 minutes is not half bad for grinding time. I like the nerf. Before, all anyone had to do to level up Mcmmo was:
Grind
CLICKCLICKCLICKCLICKCLICK
Repair
Repeat.
Also, what would newbies be doing repairing high level enchanted pickaxes anyways?

Well, if you're in the Aether, there is no excuse to make an enchanter (to fix tools and stuff) before making a Zanite pick, as holystone is so common.

Pardon me, but don't the new anvils from vanilla make the mcmmo anvils kinda useless?

What do you mean?
You might not know this, but the iron block as anvil got removed and the normal anvil will give mcmmo levels.
You use the material of that item and exp-levels to repair it, but the more you are going to repair that items the more exp-levels or items (not sure which) it will be going to cost.
