1.3 Is still a bit bugged (client has a bug in chunk loading and server side the area protections do not work yet)
So we have to stay with 1.2 for a little while.


If you want to play you have to downgrade your client.
If you are on Windows:
Step 1: Download this file
Step 2: Go to Start -> Run -> %APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin and extract the downloaded zip there
Step 3: Start Minecraft, Deactivate Remember Me (so it wont update!) and login
