This happens when I turn my Entity Render Distance up high.
Helper 5/1/15 to 12/25/15.
Please donate rails, stonebricks, and gold ores to the hopper at /warp TheSC. We need many of those in order to build the railroad network in Greycliff.

Build has this as well (on his Intel card)
I'm pretty sure it happens when the GPU runs out of memory.
This is not a bug in the code but the limited capability of your hardware.
What you can try doing to encounter this issue: Lower the render distance. Enable the "Force high-perfomance GPU" option in the launcher. Close all other applications running in the background on your computer.
Once you have this bug happening you must restart the game before you can see if changed settings have any effect on the bug.
I will look at this issue again in the next few weeks. I need to borrow that laptop from a friend again, which has an Intel GPU. On AMD or Nvidia cards I do not get render bugs no matter how far I push it (rendering 200x200 chunks would just give me low framerate or network timeouts)
It would also help to upload your .craftland/craftland.log for us ( _after the bug appeared and you closed the game_ )
