Animal Ownership Limit?

So I'm planning a project to build a mansion (and possibly a village to accompany it later) that I would eventually like to be sectioned into a region. For this build I'm going to need a lot of wool. I was just wondering if there is a limit to how many animals an individual can have per kind? I notice that there isn't a specific rule for it in the FAQ/Rules section, but I'm certain that if 1,000 chickens are spawned in one area then there would be a problem I'm sure. Don't be concerned about me, because I'm using my head and wouldn't do that. The most sheep i'll probably spawn in is 30 or so to get a steady stream of wool for my project, then tune it down to 15 or less when I'm done. Thanks for your replies.

You can have as many mobs as you want, there is no real limit. With grinders and most hostile mobs they will start fighting each other if too many are packed in a tight space (ex 20 in a 1*1 hole) but for peaceful mobs you can spawn as many as you want, the server has 64gb of ram so it wont start choking if you have a a lot of mobs in one arena, if it does become a problem we do have commands to easily large amounts of entities. In all honesty though it will probably lag out your client before it becomes a problem for the server.
