FPS Lag

For some reason in Craftland, I get alot more FPS lag than in regular Minecraft. In regular Minecraft, I turn up all my settings to max, and I still run 60 FPS (The limit I set), whilst in Craftland, I put the settings to Fastest and Short +32 render, but still get around 20-30 FPS. Any explanations as to why this is? My laptop is relatively new (Around 6 months old) and was quite expensive.

I get the exact opposite. Max everything on Craftland can still give me lots of FPS, while lowest everything on Minecraft gives me less than 30.

I get atleast 50 on my favorite settings, but on regular MC with the same settings, I got a lot less.
