Super useful bug

My friend figured out this glitch, and I don't know if you guys know about it, but:

Tools with an efficiency enchantment are able to break blocks not for the tool as fast as the correct tool with the same efficiency level.

Example: If I had a Gravitite Pickaxe with Efficiency IV, I can break an oak log with the pickaxe as fast as a diamond axe with Efficiency IV.

I don't believe this works on everything with every tool, but I do know that the example works because I have a Gravitite Pickaxe with Efficiency IV and I can break things like overworld dirt, oak leaves and oak logs at the same speed as the correct tool with that enchantment.

I really love this bug, to be honest, but I decided reporting it was the right thing to do.

Not a bug.
A pickaxe can break every single item in the game, excluding bedrock. Put Eff 4 on it, it just does the same thing faster.

I don't think so killgun, It was a bug in vanilla minecraft and they fixed it in 1.3ish (idk)
