Losing money for no apparent reason?

King_Beasty initially brought this to my attention, but I kind of dismissed the idea that money could be magically lost. And then, it happened to me.

When I logged in around 1:46pm Central Time (America), I was notified that 6,000 coins had been deducted from my account. I didn't spend it. And, I have no knowledge of a legitimate reason for it to be taken.

Anyone else had this happen to them?

I've submitted a bug report just in case.

Well this is kinda easy and not really a problem, if you have a shop that buys stuff, money will still go off your account.

Handy, I don't have a shop. Nick made me aware that the new update included fees assessed by using certain commands. If this is the case, maybe someone could make a list of fees associated with these commands.

Oh. This has also happened to me but....
Instead of regarded money, it involves the loss of XP.
Like I was in the nether, and I had 8 levels of XP
then I relogged and had 7 levels... :/
Not a bug deal but thought it should be brought to attention of the people.

Did King_Beasty also loose money?
Could it be you got those 6000 coins before you logged out previously and it did not store your new balance but reloaded your old one?
[Edit] There is a 2k fee for opening bank accounts. Did you recently open one?

Has absolutely nothing to do with the loss of money. Loosing 1 Level of XP sounds like your client wasn't in sync

Sounds more like someone is selling you stuff on your chestshops. You should carefully compare prices before setting a buy price for stackable items.

Nidefawl, I don't have any chestshops that buy items
