Shaders have errors

I have a few problems while using shaders;

-The acid shaders used to work, but after I quit playing Craftland for a while, I came back to find they don't work. It won't let me enable them, and if I try, then it makes all the text become solid rectangles and they're still disabled.

-Every single shader, when on, no matter what options are selected, replaces Minecraft's "Breaking" cracks that appear on blocks when you hit them, with a yellow glow. I'm not talking about particles, I mean the crackling on the block itself.

-Tweaked Sonic Ethers, which is the only one I use other than Acid, always seems to have some form of visual effect involving saturation even when all I have selected is the wavy fire/grass/wheat/leaves.

Well your computer crashes if you put fire in front of you, something to do with hardware.

Does that mean it's a hardware problem and I have a crap computer?

Lol. He DOES have a crap computer, but usually shaders work for me. It might be something to do with your GPU. Such as drivers :/

Well I keep my drivers up to date, and I haven't changed any hardware on my computer, so acid shader is apparently bugged for certain people [or just everybody]. As for the glow thing, that IS a problem, right? Or is that supposed to happen? I wouldn't think so, since it's... well... annoying.
