Agreed. I'm not trying to be selfish or anything but I think some players that are mature enough to handle the rank of mod should be able to apply with a lower age.

I somewhat agree. But if CraftLand were to start accepting any age it could be I'm in, I'm out scenarios ,or players at a young age that actually understand what they are doing. At a young age such as 11 or 12 there can be many mishaps.

I honestly think 13 is too young. I'd say at least 14, if not 15

If that we're the case, lots of people can kiss their ranks goodbye. 13 is a good age.

People that are over 18 can be very immature and people that are 10 can be very mature. Age is just a number and maturity is something deeper.

As nick said he was promoted before he was able to get any rank. This means he showed his maturity to the staff. If someone wants helper and are under the age, then 1. Act mature 2. Read number 1.
This may not result in promotion but it shows you are mature enough for it
