So I was helping one of my friends get on aether, and when he opened aether, the login screen was fine. The second he logged in, it turned white instead of the Mojang screen, then closes. How can he fix this

Re: Game crashes.
We need the actual error reports, there are literally thousands of issues that could be plaguing the guy.
When you open the launcher, navigate to the Settings tab, click 'Show .craftland.log' and include it in a 'Code' tag in the post.

Re: Game crashes.
It's a problem with the Mac, from what I can guess, try following the steps in the stickied thread, is the OS up to date?

Re: Game crashes.
I found a fix for this. here are the steps for my problem:
1. make a folder named Craftland and place it onto your desktop and put your craftlandloader.jar into this folder.
2. Open up terminal
3. type into terminal:
cd Desktop
4. Press Enter
5. Paste This code afterwards and then hit enter:
cd ~/Desktop/Craftland/
export JAVA_HOME=/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6/Home
java -jar craftlandloader.jar
6. The game will launch and you can now play!
P.S. all the files must be named exactly as i have explained and you must do this every time in order to launch as far as I know. (I made mine a .sh file and launch it through there.)

Re: Game crashes.
I have had the same issue for a long time now (before the recent update)
The game loads until it says "Logging in". After that, the screen turns to a dirt backround and crashes.
I've tried Brazil's suggestion, but all it did was start up the game and crash before I enter the server. Can anyone help?
Running: Mac OS X Version 10.6.8
