Question about the game directory install/game path

Post by freackymonkey » Mon Mar 25, 2013 9:09 pm

Is there an option to change where it installs and runs from? I have looked in both the forums and in the registery/ programs options with little to no luck.

To expand upon what Nick said, use the --portable parameter on the Jar to have it save the data inside the current directory.

Why would you want to change the direction where it is running from?

So you can contain it inside a USB stick.

Thanks, and it is becuase I run several different harddrives all doing different tasks/storing different data. The one it is currently running on is constantly reading/writing to its-self and the other discs. So the game will every so often get hiccups due to this. Again thanks for your help.
