Craftland dies when I enter world.

I downloaded craftland, created an account, registered. Logged into the interface (as brickviking), and meandered around the beginner's area for a bit. After walking around, I warped to ProdigyShop, entered into world, then promptly fell off, five seconds after entering ProdigyShop's region. Up until then, I'd been able to navigate around the world without any obvious issues. After that, I'm totally unable to stay online after the world renders. I've erased .craftland/ and restarted, it makes no difference when I log back into the world, I still end up at ProdigyShop, with the client completely disappearing about five seconds later.

The craftland.log file contains nothing beyond the messages stating the soundsystem starting up, LWJGL initialising, OpenAL initialized, Smart Moving using communication protocol 2.2, ModLoader initializing, and the single word "Done." with nothing further in the file.

So. What do I start looking for now? I'm on 32-bit Ubuntu 12.10, using ATI video drivers. I have 4Gb memory, SATA hard drives, and a Pentium Dual-core CPU. I've been able to run Minecraft and the Aether Prerelease 3 without any issues up until I warped to ProdigyShop.

I've tried this under Windows Vista too, and it seems that doesn't have the same issues. I'd love a chance to get back into world, as I can't go anywhere if the client keeps dying on me. I suspect the issue might be with video drivers.

Speaking as someone who has had this issue before, I suggest you ask an admin to teleport you away after the login. It seems to not be an error in the actual client but instead some sort of bug from the server interacting with you - I'd be interested in seeing what happens from the viewpoint of another player.

When I had this issue, I messaged marc and he teleported me; never had the problem again and I could re-visit the area without issues.

The issue is that I never ever get the chance to type anything in before the client's gone and disappeared on me. Thankfully, I can at least rescue myself by logging back into Windows (bleah), but I'd love to know what it is about ProdigyShop's location that kills the client stone dead on Linux. I don't normally use Windows Vista because it's less reliable than Linux, and I eventually end up with other lag-related issues. In addition, I've got no idea how to message someone yet, as I've only just connected up with the community.

Alternately, join our steam group if you have steam and you can message most admins/mods that way, too.

You may try the following things in the launcher settings:

Disable BASS Library, Disable FrameBuffer Objects, disable Animate GUI
