False Ban Reasons
Ok, now I had just recently gotten banned from the craftlands.org server...fair enough, I am not going to sit here and say that I have not
done anything that is considered an offense that merits ban, but when I attempt to log in it says my reason for being banned is because I was
causing trouble for newbies to the site...BS. First off they could at least tell me themselves if they have a problem with me and why they feel
that way, easy fix, as I would cease that action, personality, etc., but what makes this difficult to confirm is that I heard no complaints from
anyone when I was banned. Especially on the subject of potential noob abuse, when they had a question or problem, I was likely there to give
an answer, so being banned for this reason is highly doubtful. I could care less if I remain banned, as long as the reason for the ban is altered
to something legitimate, it is just sad when they have nothing to back up the claim, I have always been and will always be kind to anyone new
to any game, not just minecraft.
By the way, >>>THIS<<< is not a ban appeal, because I have already in my early time with the server performed an action that would easily
merit banning, just not under the circumstances that were given during login. "Causing problems for newbies"
Last thing: Temp or Perm. ban?... I am asking so that I don't waste my time hoping...although it would be easier making another
minecraft account altogether and buying the game again...it would be well worth it to join the only aether server. Props on that, well done.

Re: False Ban Reasons
What you were banned for was no false reason. You blocked in, on all sides, where warp pad, that sends newbies to the building area of apprentice region, ends. The only way out was YOUR locked door, they couldn't open-- OR -- to grief their way out. This easily could confuse and cause problems to new players.

Re: False Ban Reasons
The door was locked under "public" last i checked, wouldn't that mean everyone could use it? even so the intent for that room was so mobs could not get in.
I had a problem with the world loading at one point and was ambushed by a skeleton i could not see. If no one was able to use the door then I apologize, and will serve the sentence of this ban. Thank you for clearing this up, Adam. I suppose next time I will just leave the door unlocked.
Still, ... Temp or Perm.?

Re: False Ban Reasons
I hate to admit that mr_blobby's judgement on banning you was too quick, as it was really a public lock.
However, I will not unban you because I would like to reserve a policy of mine, if I don't trust you in doing something bannable again (You've basically admitted you've broken rules --that would result in ban-- more than once), then I will not unban you.

No regard at all to an apology, nor trying to help us help you to fix what ever you did that deserves a ban.CainMorningstar wrote:I am not going to sit here and say that I have not done anything that is considered an offense that merits ban

Sorry about that, I swear I checked a few times, but my eyesight isn't brilliant all the time and everything LWC Based being marked red didn't help either. Mixups happen.CainMorningstar wrote:The door was locked under "public" last i checked, wouldn't that mean everyone could use it? even so the intent for that room was so mobs could not get in.

Re: False Ban Reasons
Well it seems that my question remains unanswered, temporary or permanent ban? I am asking because I believe that everyone is entitled to
know whether or not their efforts to get back on would be wasted.
As for saying that I should have been banned, yes it is true, and that is why I wanted to make sure no one thought of it as a ban appeal.
The offense however was based off of the idea that I assumed looting/raiding was removed by the addition of being able to lock every item
that is capable of storing another item, thus meaning that the potential raid victim would have full control as to how vulnerable they really are,
but this was early on and even though this logic still remains in my head, rules are rules, it was a false assumption and I will be sure it will not
happen in the future...assuming that as of now it is a temporary ban, if not, I knew the price.

Re: False Ban Reasons
I have VERY thoroughly explained to you that was not the case, several times, yet you still "preached" your own idea that it is okay to do so. You were aware of the rules, everyone will treated like they are aware of the rules once they leave the apprentice spawn room. It's a permaban.CainMorningstar wrote:The offense however was based off of the idea that I assumed looting/raiding was removed by the addition of being able to lock every item that is capable of storing another item, thus meaning that the potential raid victim would have full control as to how vulnerable they really are

Re: False Ban Reasons
Ok, now first off when I said "early on", I was stating that it was before that conversation took place. Other than that I don't remember the conversation coming up for at least a 3rd time, maybe a second as a minor arguement after my initial case, but after having already accepted the fact that it was
still against the rules. As for your saying that I was "preaching" it, shut up, I never told anyone to start changing what they do nor will I ever stoop
that low. If someone else did something like what I did, you can be damn certain I did not directly tell them to do so.
As for the permaban statement, fine, I guess I deserve it, although I still find that seeing as this is the only aether server in existance...buy the game
again, get a new username, and join again. After that, we will see what transpires. Although I was barely able to buy the game online the first time,
I will see what I can do.
And if you still don't know what I am trying to say, let me simplify.
1:You explained the standing of this "fragile" subject
2:A moderate argument ensued
3:I was informed that if such actions took place, I would be banned
4:I made an attempt to receive common user input
5:Input conclusion, not worth it/too much effort wasted/etc.
I may even resort to using my initial ban case as a defense if this gets on my nerves, it's not much to go by, but there are some points that can be made using such a case.
Hmm...if I am not mistaken there is a clue as to WHEN I am referring to in this line "The offense however was based off of the idea that I >assumed< looting/raiding was removed by the addition of being able to lock every item that is capable of storing another item, thus meaning that the potential raid victim would have full control as to how vulnerable they really are"
>assumed< if I am not mistaken the meaning of the last two letters as a suffix (ed) means roughly "in the past", thus meaning I was not referring to
present time, thus meaning that I had indeed dropped my case of the whole looting/raiding logic I had initially developed.

Re: False Ban Reasons
You know what, I just had a thought, if we could come to some sort of agreement in between all of this, I could wait patiently, but until then, I am going to be getting very chatty on these forums until I am either convinced of your point if view or my case is proven. Note that my point of view is not always what I go by, you may have noticed that I was about to drop the case entirely and wait patiently for my answer as to whether or not the ban was temporary or permanent, but that extra bit of input that made me look bad even though I am fully aware of my own actions, oh you have started a war.

Re: False Ban Reasons
I assume you must be stupid to get so infuriated by that.
The first image is when I began explaining to you that you shouldn't make a shop in the nether because anyone can kill and grief you. I then explained chest protections, went over how you can't steal/raid from people just because they have an unprotected chest.
The second image is an hour later, you acting like it is okay to raid because they should protect their chests.
Third image is some of the same day, and some of 2 days later. You were being passive aggressive about this raiding shit.
You better hope I don't find out your IP and IPban you from the server with the way you are "war"ing with me.
