it might not work but it has for others so basically you could have it when someone presses donate that it takes them to a different page were they have to press "I agree" to like a couple terms including that all donations are non-refundable.
this is a quote from someone else i read about it saved them so i thought maybe we could try it on craftland
"For my stream I actually had a splash page it brought them too which they had too agree too before it would send them to the paypal link.
Saved me 4k when someone tried to charge back. All I can say is thank god I did that else I would be down 4.3k because of the fees."

Even with a landing page stating that it is non refundable, paypal and credit card companies will still fight.

It's not that someone is just wanting a refund and nide just gives it to them. The players who get refunds commit credit card fraud, saying there card was stolen and did not authorize the transaction. Credit card companies automatically authorize the refund, a "I Agree" screen will not stop that.

nide could easily win a case like this in court so much evidence would be in nides favour its not just a couple dollars a couple months going to wards some random site its a server donation they actively played on with a account linked to their email on their IP while mysteriously getting donated items and having it say in chat they donated you wouldnt go months without noticing that 20-100 dollars went missing here and there every couple of weeks to months its unrealistic

and if nide took action on one or two cases most likely any future people thinking of it would be discouraged

But it's credit card companies VS nide, a lot of the times it's not worth the fight. They so often just rule in the customers favor.

That would be like putting a sign in a bank saying "Anyone who steals will go to jail." It won't deter and stop anyone

Took action? Why? These people will get a refund, and Nide will spend thousands on lawyer fees to get a $100 donation.
