If you want to put a hat on it, then yu don't need to put the helmet, as it won't be seen anyways with a hat on top of it. Just don't put a helmet on, and boom, there's your hat slot.

yeah but what if you want to store like an outfit in an armor stand (armor plus hat)? I mean you can waer a helmet plus a hat in your inventory... . Thats what I ment, it would be nice if the amount of slots of ther armor stand matches your inventory slots for "wearable" items.

Why don't we just add every slot so the armour stands look like this
