Lenny face and gifs

I feel like this server is incomplete, you can not put the lenny face in chat. Many others feel like this should be a thing.
Another thing is that I feel like there should be the option to post gifs or other pictures into the chat as a whole not just a link.

Emoticons are becoming a popular thing IRL...This is definitely a great social suggestion to be honest. As long as it's not abused.

Im pretty sure this is a limitation with the way we are handling language, its also why some languages letters and words arnt typeable, e.g. russian, mandarin. It would be possible directly by making an emoticon list, like the &i but if I recall correctly it was suggested before and denied.
