Price Ranges

I feel like there should be a price range for items depending on what it is, the rarity and how many are being sold. People sell items at too low prices, which people then try to compete with which ruins the economy. Also this will help prevent people from selling items at a low price by accident, which has happened to me on multiple occasions, (I recently accidentally missed out a 0 on the end of one of my prices and my valkyrie bows got bought out without me realizing the price was 1,200 not 12,000)

Well, the economy is how the economy is... i mean if people want to sell things at a really low price it will be sold at a low price :3

I purposely been making prices on popular item low.... This is not to ruin the economy at all, it is to keep the economy moving. The more people buy, the more stable the economy is. We have a rich economy at the moment, everyone is practically rich.

It's hard to have set limits, we have relative prices set in the code but the problem is prices always change, Moa eggs used to be worth thousands now they are barely worth 10 coins.

Why don't someone make a guide with the price ranges and then code shop chests to only sell certain items in those price ranges? and update the prices once a month to either go up or down

You mean like how the Grand Exchanged used to be in Runescape?

As for the coding. Try https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Box_plot" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That's just a graph, it's not a way of coding prices for a fluctuating economy.

This is a way how a game did prices and the prices would never get sold too high or low http://forums.zybez.net/runescape-2007-prices" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

i think there must the freedom of choosing prices. if there would be one minimum price for "iron" lets say 10. the people that are trying to be the cheapest atm are selling then at 10 as everybody else who wants to sell. so in the end all comes down to the design of the shop or the frequency of ads and ads are at the moment pretty annoying much more colors and longer than some months back ;) so if you know you item is rare and the other is selling at a too low price then buy and resell it.
and red btw 12k for a valk bow is pretty cheap yourself ;)
