A new Item to brew with

Hey,

I want to suggest a new item. the name i could not think of one so lets call it item X.

AS there a several cool crops on the server but no use yet i thought of a use that would be really awesome.
You can make the duration of a potion longer using redstone. What if you could put the item X after the redstone to further increase the duration of the potion effect.
the item X would be crafted out of several new crops. for example chili powder and/or dark chili powder and
tomatoes. whatever in order to get a power item that you can use in brewing.
Or maybe some fish meal could be crafted out of fishes (or out one special fish) as part of one ingredient to craft the item x.

the additional duration must not be from 8 min to 16 min but from 8 to 12 min would be already nice. I feel that i would be nice to add this as there are already potion with duration of 30 min or 20 min.

Make it so if we put a carrot in a water bottle to make night vision and remove the alt way of making night vision

hm i like the direction hero. what if you could craft a "golden redstone carrot". So first craft the golden carrot and in the same way as the golden carrot is crafted craft the "golden redstone carrot". (for crafting replace carrot with golden carrot and gold with redstone). this way one potion of nightvision could be brewed with one "golden redstone carrot" (recipe: 8 redstone 1 golden carrot). So in order to save one step of brewing you will need more ressources. maybe this potion could have a longer duration as more ressources are used.
