Block Physic Suggestion: Frost

If you place Ice, Packed Ice under a normal block, the block on top will get the slippery effect of ice and maybe you could do this with Frozen Quicksoil giving that a use to the game where the normal blocks will be as slippery as Quicksoil.

Frozen Quicksoil: Yeah, sure.

Ice/Compressed Ice: No, adding this to these blocks will mess up many creations that players have already made. For example, if someone has a house in an ice biome that was just fine, they wouldn't want to slip inside their house all of a sudden.

Frozen Quicksoil is recent and less likely to screw things up.

They could use carpet :P
