please give the website a nice wallpaper from one of our builds. So the new spawn would be a good one /warp talarion. Make it in HD and do it with seus ultra please.
Does the backround always have to move with the board or is it possible to just move the board and keep the backround fixed?

"The Features of the server should be on the first site" (Nidefawl 2014).
Can the webstie be as wide as the forum so that there actually could be a nice wallpaper?
Can this wallpaper be some sort of gallery which circles and is it possible for user to have some sort of contest to get into the wallpaper cirlce or can we have a gallery in the forum?
Can some parts of the site be transparent so that the wallpaper shines through it?

This is no offense and our site is already good but as a server with a launcher, which is in need that people download the launcher we should pimp ourselves a bit and make some changes. Sorry if it causes trouble and takes time but hei lets have a poll about that i guess.

So that way the whole upper part could be transparent and much less big means the site would gain space and the wallpaper would make the people hungry.

Brings me to the point the download launcher icons can they be bigger and maybe located in the middle of the page? I mean can the right boxes move into the middle, news stay on the left and maybe some features and the newest forum post go on the or maybe not the newest post but the menu from the top to the right including a list of features.

Oh and the wallpaper or the site should somehow show the aether banner, cause of thats our biggest catcher. Maybe next to the craftland.org logo on the left upper corner? The login could just be a the header of the right frame and header of the feature and menu box.

Oh and if we would have a small youtube box on the website which would automatically play a vid (trailer) wouldnt that give the vid klicks on youtube and that way push the vid itself? I am no experienced with this but i fantasize that could work. The vids could be randomized. If this wont work can this be triggered when the users login on their account, so that only in a small box 7x7 cm or 3x3 inch a vid starts in a box in the middle maybe below the download buttons for win, mac, app ?

In a box on the right side we could although do links with the topics of posts our people did on public minecraft sites. that way we could follow that thread and push them. Could that be go hand in hand with our forum?

And hei nickster I know you are gonna have hundreds of "but" and this sentence and this thread is absolute no offense dont be mad at me please! Without you we would not be here and noone is capable of doing your job better than you do! Its just what i see and how it looks in the web and what I try to get processed in my brain. I mean we both had the talk a few weeks (i guess) ago where you showed me what is behind all this.
That a website update is a pain is clear it takes a lot of checks for example with all browsers etc. But maybe there are people who could help and I guess all would appreciate it.

What I had in mind:
Say Download Modpack (not Launcher) which has to be at least big like the logo.
Quick overview about what the Modpack offers.
Prevalence of the server obvious and quickly accessable via players and, players active and minestatus in one hud.
Teamspeak optimized wiht only the online players??
Not to display all patchupdates to keep just the whole website like wihout scrolling maybe and display the hottest forum thread underneath the patchnotes together in one box like NEWS? The rest of the patchnotes can be checked by the forum or klicking on the Patchnotessequenze?
Gallery or video place for vivid advertisement or maybe some sort of observerview of players like switching random through all players (dont know if that works somehow and should be possible to deactivate that by players in game?) or maybe like a spawncam or bossbattle cam or a animation of a craftland mob or random animations of mobs or a craftland mascot like maybe a panda or aerwhale (maybe just gifs)?

Trasnparency for all places with no informative content and slightly transparent for the informative ones.
Newest members and minestatus may be switched cause of the colors of the playerskins.
When you are logged in the login box may be switched to logout and profile and even with like us on facebook?
I forgot the Donate, Vote, Forum, DimensionMaps, Chat , Wiki, Rules (at the end cause of better in the launcher? by first login so not that important on the website only as check info?) Buttons like maybe have them on the right side underneath the SHOP box?
Make it somehow clear what a player gets today when he joins like starterpack, hat, special offer or credits, spawnegg mob, buff, ran (rankdiscount? i know i will propably be shot by this but this would be a very agressive advertisment and could be used on special times the year)?

What about a Welcome & Get started book with the basic commands and advisory in the starterkit?

Donations for first two ranks half the cost on Christams like steam summer or winteroffers?

The Patchnotes and hottest Forum post my share the middle box like as NEWS with patchnotes on top and Forum post in the lower half maybe?

What my intention and qestions are:
make it easy, make it stunning, make it adorable, make it accesable quick, make it obvious its a modpack, make it transparent.
If i cause to much trouble what am i supposed to invest or is this rude?
I am aware that we already achieved a lot in the last weeks and it was surely with some sacrifice so i dont wanna push rush or force anything from my side right now. If other people got ideas or even better got interest to sacrifice a bit of themself you are very welcome i assume (i am not the boss, just a pimp <--- insider).

I'm sorry soul but in terms of website design that just does not look good. It breaks a lot of the website design rules. The second you start trying to cram everything into the the main page of a website it starts to look like this This site

Also, you can not have content any wider that the current margins (1234 pixels wide) if you go beyond it will be difficult and look horrible on smaller browser windows as well as on some mobile devices.

Personally i like the current design. Its simple and doesn't cram everything into one page. Its also kind of modern looking.

I don't agree with Soul's design, but I do think the design needs to be different.

Uhm ok, I just try to work with it.
