I think there should be something in spawn that makes newbies read the rules board, because recently all I've been hearing on the server from anyone without a green name is "WHY CANT I BUILD" and "HOW DO I GET TO AETHER"

Or is there not something explaining how to get to aether on rule board? I thought there was. Either way, perhaps we can make a moderately short newbie spawn maze making them answer questions about the server rules.

A maze would just shorten the span of new guys since they would be too lazy and bail out instantly.

And there is a sign at spawn that says "Can't build? /warp build?" so they're just lazy to read rules overall.

when register a acconte on craftland.org they need to answer some questions if the questions is answered wrong BAN!

that isnt stopping them, mostly they would just ask for the aether and someone says: /warp aether

Lets build a maze inside Reichstag and flag it as no warp away. After that, some cool mechanism that takes them to beginner area maybe?

I think I have a better idea. If any of you have ever played Counter strike, or any multiplayer source game for that matter, you should be fairly familiar with the MOTD (Message of the day) system, which is a big window that pops up on the screen and reads out all of the rules and such when a player joins the server. In vanilla minecraft, this obviously would not be possible, however, with the addition of nidefawl's GUI system, I think he could make this work.
