i think this would be a good way for hopper items to go up,
it is a very fascinating mod and on another mod of the owners (redstone paste one)
and this mod would be very helpful

Exactly.

Having to attach pulsor or whatever the hell you call them to every dropper facing up is, believe me, f***ing tedious and the clicking sound is annoying as hell. And making a hopper filter like the mod also adds is great, because item filters in vanilla are huge.

Orrr.. Make a dropper shoot into a closed 1x1x1 hole and let a piston fill the hole which'll force the items (with a 3x3xheight) up the tower.

This would actually be better because Hoppers cost too much iron per.
