I have realized that the No Caps rule has caused countless problems, from being fair or staff not noticing people abusing them.

Why don't you just write a filter or use a filter plugin that limits caps/doesn't allow caps at all/only allows caps at the start of a word?

If it were to detect whether the caps were at the start of the word, people may say 'E X A M P L E' but the filter would still eliminate many problems, and you could just have it detect caps in a row or detect those certain chat bypassments.

It has been two years and a half since this server was created, and I do not see why nidefawl has not yet implemented a chat filter. Please explain to me why.

Because the vast majority of people don't abuse them and we can deal with the players that do easily.
Because it would screw you over everytime you want to write BBC, ITV, PBS, ASCII, BBS, ISS, etc.

I see. Thanks for explaining, but could you not just put a limit on how many caps in a chat so that you can still say those things, but avoid the big this such as "COME TO MY SHOP FOR GREAT DEALS CHEAP PRICES WE HAVE A LIMITED TIME OFFER FOR GRAVITITE AND DIAMONDS GO TYPE IN THIS WARP BEST SHOP EVER WAY BETTER THAN OTHER SHOPS /WARP BEST SHOP EVER" or "OMG IM SO F*CKING PISSED OFF WTF YOU GUYS ARE SO STUPID WDF OMG WHYD YOU TAKE THE BLOCK OMG WTF IM NOT YOUR FRIEND ANYMORE"

Whilst I agree having it more clear as to what is allowed would be helpful, it's very hard to globally define right and wrong to apply to every situation.
At the moment, It's mostly just common sense and staff warnings to make sure players know if they are doing something wrong with overuse of caps.

Actually there is a caps filter in place.
Not many players managed to raise its kick condition yet.

I've seen massive sentences of caps pass by ingame o-O

the stats plugin can temp ban also, But it's really high.

No. I guess runescape also filters f-bombs and such. I hate censoring

I recomend to nidefawl to code a thing like you can disable caps or hide caps so you won't see it anymore.
He can also code a think like when you use too much caps in a sentence it will warn you then kick and ban!
